The mortal remains is kept at No.1438, 2nd Main Road, 5th Cross, Manorayanapalya, R T Nagar post, Bangalore – 560032. ABOUT OUR PASTOR
Rev.Gnanakumar was born in a devoted Christian family as the 4th son to his parents along with his siblings, 4 brothers and 3 sisters. Rev Gnana Kumar, a humble man of God comes to us with a ministerial experience of over 32 years (entered into ministry in 1990).
He has devoted his life to God in true worship and desire to be used to motivate, inspire, and arouse the Body of Christ to worship God in Spirit and in Truth.
He has served about 25 churches in the Church of South India – Karnataka Central Diocese. Rev.Gnanakumar was posted to Wesley Tamil Church- Haines Road on 1st May 2020 during the covid period. He took over the responsibility of presbyter-in-charge during those difficult times of Corona and started serving with great zeal and enthusiasm. Though going online was new and challenging, he led the congregation through online and offline modes of service through the spirit’s leading and guidance.
As a person he is very humble, lovable and soft spoken. He is easily approachable, a real caretaker, attending to the needs and concerns of every congregation member. He lives up to his name – A man with immense wisdom and waits on the Lord in all that he does.
An effective communicator of God’s Word, Rev Gnana Kumar is widely known for his practical and dynamic teaching style which helps people apply the timeless truths of Scripture to their everyday lives. Indeed a true shepherd who is leading his flock in the right direction. His mission is to bring about a spiritual revival in the church which has a legacy of 200 years of its existence. Every congregation member has been benefited from his powerful sermons and Yes! Miracles have happened through his healing prayers.
He is a good preacher and teacher to all. Loved by his congregation members. “Bible in Brain” is a phrase we give to our dear pastor seeing the in-depth knowledge of the scriptures (the way he quotes references while preaching).
He also conducts Bible study, intercessory and healing prayers every Friday from 6:30 to 7:30pm apart from regular worship services on Sundays. His moto is to preach the Goodnews to everyone and prepare people for the second coming. He takes active interest and participates in all church programs and initiatives and guides all departments in the church through his teaching and administrative skills. A special mention about our pastor is that he takes time out from his busy schedule every day and he is the first person to wish the congregation member over a call on their birthdays and wedding anniversary which is a true blessing to all.

On the mark of the church Bicentenary The Wesley Tamil Church Haines Road, Congregation wishes our spiritual leader and mentor Rev T.Gnanakumar, his wife Mrs. R.Vanitha Mani – President of Women’s Fellowship, Daugher , Son, Son-in-law, Granddaughter for their fruitful and blessed ministry at our Church.
